I ported some codes with some help from Welohabi a week or two ago for SC7P52. Welohabi got me the right offset for the codes and showed me how to do it with the Windows Calculator. I'm 99% sure I did everything right.

There's about 10-15 codes that I need to be tested. I would actually prefer it if someone who could test the codes used the actual game disc instead of an ISO since the game acts differently to some codes sometimes because of the settings you might have on in the USB loader. The codes might not work with the ISO, but if you can only test them with an ISO then I guess that's alright.

Just so you know the offset was E380. I subtracted E380 from the address from the NTSC U code and it gave me the ported code. That's what Welohabi told me to do and that's what I did.

I'm porting from NTSC U to PAL.

Please let me know if you can test the codes for me in this thread and I'll PM you the codes within 5 minutes to 24 hours. I won't give the codes to n00bs who don't know anything about this kind of stuff.

Thanks!

I didn't think we were talking about black ops? I don't have those private messages saved anymore to even look back. I should have caught that though. I was going on the basic method of porting, and you provided me with two of the same code tagged with different regions.

I think so, yes. hmm
I wonder how he provided me with two different region codes though that I used to get the offset.. I don't think I paid any attention to which game the code was for at all. I should take that into account when giving porting advice in the future. ulol

Fuck! So, these codes wouldn't even work anyways because we did it wrong? I don't understand what we did wrong though.

Black Ops codes are universal... I'm trying to figure out how you gave me codes from two separate regions, that was the same code.

I got the codes from www.geckocodes.org if that helps. The codes were in the SC7P52 and SC7E52 sections.

I dont have any pal region games.
Also, wii
Spoiler:
Most countries in North and South America, including the US and Canada, utilize the National Television Standards Committee (NTSC) format, while Europe, Australia and parts of Asia use a competing format called Phase Alternating Line (PAL). The major distinction between these two formats is the rate at which a broadcast is displayed on a TV screen: NTSC displays at 30 frames per second (fps), while PAL provides 25 fps. Each format also uses a different number of lines on an old analog TV display when showing the signal, creating two different resolutions. The widespread adoption of High-Definition Televisions (HDTVs) by many consumers has not eliminated this difference, however, since older broadcasting methods have influenced digital signal playback.
Just because different groups of countries rely on the same video standard doesn't automatically mean that Wii games from one country will work in another country's Wii that uses the same video standard. At the Wii's initial release, Nintendo confirmed that both its Wii consoles and its Wii video game discs would be region-locked. While it's possible to hack your Wii so it will play another region's games, the legality of doing so varies from country to country -- and you'll certainly void your Wii's warranty.

If you have a burning desire to play Wii games that were only ever released in the U.K., but you live in the U.S., you may at first think that all you need to do is buy a U.K. Wii. Unfortunately, for video equipment to work together, it must all use the same video standard -- or be able to convert from one standard to another, as some region-free DVD players do. In other words, in order for you to use a PAL Wii, you must have a PAL TV, or your equipment won't work properly together.

test ntsc-u codes on pal cause i tried to port but it gives me same address.

Do you mean how to port codes? If not this is not the right topic to post it.
