What do you guys think?

I'll also upload a videos on some ported Zombies codes. I needed to manually fix sometimes since the program can not be 100% sure that it's correct. Wink

Sorry, earlier I posted in the wrong topic. I thought it said "Java Porting Search Application" not "Java Pointer Search Application". Rolling Eyes lol

I noticed that your program runs from a console file, so it doesn't have a GUI (I think), but if you could implement something like this into it, it would allow the user to determine if the address was ported correctly. I don't know what kind of math or what you would write to calculate the probability though because I've done very little math in programming. The bytes to compare forwards and backwards is pretty much the same thing as when you're porting codes in HxD, if you don't understand what I mean by forwards and backwards, I'll post a picture. Wink

It's a console only application on purpose, they are lightweight and sexy. xD

It works like this now:
Submit the address(es) via batch script and both RAM dumps in the same directory. It uses the next 8 bytes as template till it succeeds. If the user is not happy with the resulting address, it allows to use a 8 bytes backwards template as well.

There is no way to know how much the probability of a good port is or maybe you have a good tip which I doubt since memory can be so different and still a correct port. The game version display code (BO MP and Zombies) was a shocking example of that. My program failed and on modification returned different results. Still wrong, I had to recreate it Neutral
