I recently hinted at a fancy Java program I was working on, and it's finally done!
It's a bit sloppy, has a couple of typos, and I completely blame Swing for the bugs.

Oh yeah, and it's made with Java Swing!

You can check it out here.

Current features:

  • Calculates/shows modified catch rate and shake probability based on user input
  • Explains in layman's terms what the aforementioned calculations mean
  • Support for most gen III-IV Poké Balls
  • Gen III-IV calculations as accurate as I can make them given my resources

Planned features:

  • Support for all main-series games
  • Support for all Poké Balls
  • HTML analysis to pull data automagically (proving painfully difficult)
  • Cleaned up layout
  • Fixed bugs (if I can)
  • Text file thingy to make the HTML analysis faster
  • Typos corrected

So clearly it's got a long ways to go, but hey - I'm surprised I got this far, considering that it's my first Swing code :P
